PRE +. POST TAN CARE

BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE

Schedule your appointment 2-3 days before your event! Tans take 24 hours to fully developed colour.

EXPRESS/RAPID SPRAY TANS

Express/Rapid tans rinse time is 2-5 hrs dependant on your individual skin tone and desired results. After your first quick rinse no or a light tan maybe present. Your tan will continue to develop for generally the next 8 or so. Allow 24hrs for full development.

WHAT TO WEAR

✔️Wear dark, full covering loose-fitting clothing with open-toed sandals. Oversized jumper, t-shirt & track pant for winter. Loose fitting t-shirt dress for summer is ideal.

Disposable underwear, hair nets and nipple covers are complementary at your appointment.

Please note that the bronzer in solution may transfer to your items, but is water soluble and should wash out.

✔️SHOWERING
DO NOT USE DOVE
Showering should be completed at least 4 hours prior to tanning to allow your pH levels to neutralize. Use a natural gel based body wash.




HAIR REMOVAL
✔️Waxing/Laser should be completed at least 48 hours prior to your appointment and shaving should be completed with 24hrs before you appointment.



EXFOLIATE
✔️Use an exfoliating mitt this is particular important to use to remove old tan residue.
Stay away from a body scrub/loofah combo as most are oil-based and will leave a residue. 


NO BARRIERS

Do not use any lotions, oils, deodorant, perfumes, or makeup the day of your appointment.

HYDRATE THE BODY

Drink 2 litres of water a day and moisturise daily in the lead up to your appointment. No moisturiser on the day.

Maintenance


BEFORE RINSING

Do not get wet or sweat until your initial rinse.
This means no showering, working out, lotions, or liquid foundations on the skin until after you take your initial rinse.



NO TOUCHING

If you touch yourself while your tan is developing, this could result in stained palms


FIRST RINSE

If you do not rinse at your designated time, your tan may develop too light or too dark.
Do not use body wash at first rinse or moisturiser.
Temperature should be lukewarm.

Tip: If you see streaks after getting out the shower, hop back in and use your hand to guide the leftover bronzer off.

STAY HYDRATED

✔️Drink 2 litres of water a day.
The more hydrated your skin is, the longer your tan will last.
Your moisturiser should be free of mineral oil and artificial fragrance.
